THE ISLAND

Even though St. John is the smallest of the Virgin Islands, just 28 square miles in size, many believe it is the loveliest. Two-thirds of St. John is a U.S. National Park, consisting of a beautiful rainforest that provides habitat for over 800 species of plants, as well as white sandy beaches shaded by seagrape trees, coconut palms, and bordered by turquoise waters teeming with coral reef life.

Cruz Bay is the charming, colorful town where the ferry arrives and the main town on St. John. Villa Venturoso is up the hill just above Cruz Bay. You can walk down the hill from the villa to Cruz Bay for shopping, restaurants, and night life. If you like, there are open air taxis at the ferry terminal that will take you to the beach. The beaches are only 5 to 15 minutes away, one right after another, and all beautiful. Explore a new beach each day!

You can walk down the hill from the villa to Cruz Bay where you will find fantastic restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
